Got to agree with the comments in “Proving the Critics Right”. Comments from the media and to the media ref. anyone’s wife and family are deplorable. Thanks for discouraging anyone from taking the Alabama job. Alabama is not a nationally dominant program now and may never be again. However it may have the most hysterical and tasteless media in the country.

I think he stayed largely because,as you pointed out, it is home and also he went there. How anyone could compare the merits of the head coaching job at WV versus Alabama however is beyond me. There is simply no comparison.

Historically, you have a point.
However, as of right now which job provides the greater opportunity for a national title?
Seriously–if you just look at the last ten years, which is the better job?
