There are books on shelves and because my husband will not let me havem ore book shelves there are books on the floor and in boxes. I have kept every book I have ever owned since I was 12 so.. I can not count thathat high, nor care to. 2. Two bought at the same time both by Michael Romkey "The Vampire's Violin" and "The Vampire Virus" 3. Just finished "Dragon's Blood" the first it the series written solely by Todd without input from his mother. I am so glad the series will live on in good hands. I am cheap will not read "Dragonholder" until it is in paper back. 4 a)The family bible given to me by my gradmother. b) MY 1931 copy of "The Wealth of Nations" given to me by Aunt Brenda, who if was not for her I would have never been able to aford college the first time around. c) 1910 Copy of English Poetry Vol 1. It represents the dreamer in me.I have no idea where I got it but have had it since I was about 10, most likely got it from Aunt Brenda too. d) Piers Anthony's "Tarot" e) "The Proud Tower" by Barbara Tuchman.. no it is not like "Fawlty Towers" A day late..

The fact that it was over a thousand pages long meant that it was divided into three books by the publisher over Tolkien's objections. They should have done that with the Harry Potter series too, at least witht the later ones. Actually, the Lord of the Rings is ONE book, and was always reguarded as such by the author. (My husband is the real book hound in the family. His number would probably exceed yours, since he is 13 years older than you and also a PhD, and in literature no less) 2. The last book I bought that I actually have "in hand" is Grandma's Best Full-Size Quilt Blocks: Pieces of the Past for Today's Quilters. However, today I order 4 books from Amazon (you should know them well, you assigned them for next semester's class) 3. The last book I completed was for class last semester, I think it was the Katz book. I'm currently reading Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them by Al Franken. Very funny. You should at least read the section on how to lie with footnotes. 4. The books that mean alot to me are: The Gospels in the New Testament (but NOT the whole Bible) On to Oregon (which was actually a childrens book but has made me want to visit Oregon my whole life) The Awakening by Kate Chopin (Because I identify so strongly with the main character) The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx (my reason for studying Political Science in the first place) 1. If you are interested, I can "refer" you and if you join, I get a free book, so if so, I can have an e-mail sent to you to look at. I’ve been happy with them.
