This has been in the rumor mill for a couple of months, at least. I'm unfamiliar with the chip process, but I can't see Jobs destroying all the goodwill built by OS 10 with bad chips and software rewrites. Still, from what I understand, it's going to allow them to speed up the powerbooks, which they can't do with the g5.
