And another thought, I am wondering if Katrina has really changed the Presidents governing style, no confrontation. Bush has three more years to either go down as bumbling two termmer or one of this country's greatest presidents. I just hope that Ms. Miers is not a step in the wrong direction. Just a note that confirmation hearings are going to be interesting, Republicans desperately wanting to know how she leans on certain issues, abortion, environment, ect., and democrats gloating that she gave $250 to Al Gore. She has more experience than any other candidate to be appointed to the high court. Even though she has never been a judge, never argued a case before the Supreme Court, it doesn't matter. She has what you need to succeed as a judge--unswerving loyalty to Premier Bush. She'll be great. Harriet Miers is one of the nation’s most brilliant legal minds.
