I assume this is just a ruling regarding the specific case, correct? The courts, I assume, are saying that this fighter does not qualify under the law that grants lighter sentences for political than for common crimes.
(I am basing my assumption on the fact that I think it would have to be the Constitutional Court if the entire process of separate punishments for different crimes was being questioned. However, I am not sure.)
