Alas, I had the same reaction about the infiltration of narcos. I was, however, a little surprised that the Farc had wormed its way into the army. On the other hand, the Farc/narco distinction has been breaking down over the last couple of decades, so if you have one, I suppose you can expect to have the other, too.

I had a similar reaction. At first I was mildly surprised about the FARC connection, but then realized that they are flush with cash as well.
