So reports Advertising Age: Miller Repeals ‘Man Law’.
On balance, the commercial were amusing, as far as commercials go. But then again, while I know they are beer commercials, I really didn’t know which beer it was for.
By the same token, I am not in the market for light beer, so I wasn’t the target demographic to begin with.
What? You’ll drink diet soda but not light beer?

I prefer real beer–indeed, I prefer stouts and ales to lagers in general.
I am just saying that the commercial in question wouldn’t be especially efficacious in my case.

I’ll keep that in mind.
It’s actually the diet soda I can’t understand. But I guess it just means you have your priorities straight.

I used to be wholly anti-diet soda. Now I actually prefer it. I just realized how much sugar I was drinking. Indeed, I lost 5-10 pounds when I stopped drinking regular sodas and juices with tons of sugar in them.
Of course, that was several years ago and I have since found those pounds again.
And yes: one has to have one’s priorities straight.

I lost a good bit of weight when stopped drinking soda daily (still have some occasionally) and started drinking water. It was a difficult adjustment, but now I actually prefer water to soda most of the time too. It’s funny what you can get used to. It’s just the after-taste with diet soda that gets to me.

I used to be the same way. Now a regular soda gives me a headache and they taste kinda funny to me.
