Have you heard about The American Candidate. It might actually be worth watching. Especially as a political scientist.

I heard about it during the planning stages. I thought I saw something the other day ot indicate that they had decided not to run it.

I watch a few reality TV shows (Americal Idol, The Amazing Race, The Mole are the top three), but there are some I won't watch. The Assistant is one of them.

I am one that thinks The American Candidate didn't sound like a great idea either. The Presidency is too important to have a novelty candidate like that.

I concur in re: "The Candidate"--although I suspect that whoever won on that program still would do quite poorly at the polls. Essentially it would end up being a parody of campaign, whether it intended to be so or not.

Dear prof. i would like to get input on a trend in this country...with regards to child custody involing sexual abuse of minor children...the abuser gets custody ...why...?? well because investigations cost tax payers money...and wso the childrens stories get ignored...children cannot vote...they lose the protective parent and get placed exclusivly in the hands of their abusers...the protective parent ..runs into one dead end after another...NO ONE CARES....the child endures the abuse and must accept it...this has happened to my child...with his father .an atty..from boston...the DA.'s ...will not open cases up unless they have ...a 96% conviction rate of conviction...the protective parent becomes...an outcast...the pedophile is in chage...the department of childrens service workers get paid lots of money ...the protective parent is given monitored visits...monitor gets paid lots of money...everyone...looks the other way...the child peditor...(marshall medoff,brookline mASSACHUETTES) ABUSED OTHER CHILREN...HIS ADULT DAUGTER FLED FROM SEXUAL ABUSE LEGALLY CHANGED HER NAME..MEDOFF IS VERY ILL..AND GETTING AWAY WITH SADISTIC ,ABUSE.OF CHILDREN...HE MUST BE STOPPED) PLEASE FEEL CHALENGED NOT TO BELIEVE ME INVESTIGTE YOURSELF ON "GOOGLE" SEX ABUSE/CHILD CUSTODY) THIS DISTUBING TREND is the biggest dirty little secret of cusody courts...i can stand the public suruitny ...get my case on "bill O rielley show to be looked into///there will be an avalanche of similar stories ...the poeple earning money ...to help pedophiles through the system are actually state employees...like(supposed child advocate) hiedie tuffias westwood california...she is earing several hundred thousand dollars to help the state rid itself of costly littigations..she squashed evidence to help the peditor ...how many more child peditors has hiedie tuffias helped....less than 1% of sexual abuse allegations are false...signed "a mom who loves her child"

I am Christy Hayashi, Bobbi Hayashi's oldest daughter. I am writing you because, I belive my mom should be Donald Trumps Asst. The reason is because my mom has been a single parent my hole life, which would be going on 20 yrs. She has her own bussiness which is buying and selling homes. She is the smartest woman I have ever met, she is kind, thoughtful, beautiful, and most importantly a great mother to us 3 girls. She has no idea I am writing you but I think she would fit the catergory for what you are looking for. Also she worked for a company called HAYASHI Corp, which I belive Donald Trump knows because he knew the owner Ken (Kenneth)S. Hayashi, he was my step father. Which she was married too and ended up running the bussiness for him. I just know that she has it all, she is 42 and looks like she is my sister, oh my god, is she smart, and she can pull anything off. I hope one day I can be just like her. Hopefully you will consider Bobbi Hayashi for, representing Donald Trumps company in the future.
