Brett Marston and I may disagree on the exact significance of the "southern strategy, but he's right--Michael Savage is an "unbelievable jerk". Although I haven't started to boycott MSNBC over it. I certainly avoid Savage at all costs.
Posted by Steven at May 24, 2024 09:47 PM | TrackBackI finally saw what Savage looks like and determined that he looks like a real weenie. His voice does not match with his cherubic face.

Now if we can just talk a little more about George Wallace, Richard Nixon, and "colorblindness". . .
:)
BTW: We do agree on another thing: Blogger bites the big one.
Posted by: Brett at May 25, 2024 12:14 PMDoes anyone think Michael Savage is "overrepresented" as a voice of conservatism? I'm a damn lefty, but I pay a lot of attention to conservative commentators who generally are not the wingnutty types like Coulter, Limbaugh and Savage (and, at times, O'Reilly); rather, they tend toward the more reserved, buttoned-down, like George Will or most of the Weekly Standard folks. Just wondering.
Posted by: Kevin Moore at May 25, 2024 01:25 PMWe agree on Wallace as well, I suspect largely on Nixon as well. Although I do suspect that we would have an argument as to what color blindness should, and does, mean :)
Posted by: Steven at May 25, 2024 01:49 PMAnd, indeed on Blogger :)
