So far it's been harmless, but given the negativity swirling around these days it's hard not to be jumpy, ya know?

That's interesting. Dean himself expended a lot of negative energy on his blog recently, smearing me and misrepresenting my arguments, quite out of proportion to anything I said, which was to disagree bluntly with him on a number of issues, but no more so than is par for the course in the blog world. I sympathize with any trouble he is having with trolls or hackers - I wouldn't wish that on anyone - but I wouldn't consider him the most credible arbitor of how people in the Blogosphere ought to behave. PS I know I said on my blog it was time to move on, and I hesitated before sending this, but my irony meter pegged in the red when I saw Dean commenting on "swirling negativity." I'll stop now.
