    I liked the Democrats clapping when Bush said some of the Patriot Act would expire, then Bush did a double take and delivered the next line their way. I thought that really jazzed him up for the rest of the speech.

    This was probably his "smoothest, most comfortable" speech to date. There was a great deal of speaking confidence there; more than at any other point in time.
