I was a fan of the old shows too. It’s interesting that they decided to rewrite history. There was no indication that Jamie wasn’t the first bionic woman in the original series, was there? It was the Million Dollar Man first and then the Bionic Woman, right?
I think Maxamillian (pun intendedf) was the first bionic creature–a German Shepherd. Youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZAd86zqrh9E) has some of the show up. Matrix influenced (or is that anachronistic?), but pretty good.

I suspect that this will be radical “reimagining” of the whole Bionic universe, as was BSG.
