Especially amusing in the context of Sackhoff, who plays a role played by a guy in the original BSG. Indeed, the new BSG is better in pretty much every way than the old.
Bionic Woman was interesting when I was 10 but don’t think it stands up all that well now. It wasn’t nearly as good a 6 Million Dollar Man and even it seems dated now.
Odd, though, that BW was chosen for a remake rather than $6MM.
Yup in re: Woman v. Man, although based on something that I read, Eick said that the genesis of the idea had to do with a failed project which was focused on a strong female lead character.
And I would ask: is there any way in which the old BSG was better than the new?

To me the preview seemed kinda dark and violent. I only looked at it briefly and without sound, though.

It did look on the darker and violent side–certainly moreso than the 70s version.
