The biggest shocker wasn’t the four new Cylons (five since I think Starbuck’s one too), but that I have to wait until 2024 for new episodes. UGH!
With these new Cylons my theory is those machines planned for decades to find earth. Planting the Cylons in the colonies was a first step. Then comes the attacks on the colonies. Then chasing the fleet across the galaxy. They want earth so badly.
I’m guessing next season (2008!) the Cylons will try to convince the humans they can share earth. Starbuck will be the chief ambassador. With her relationships with the Adamas it should be even more psychologically interesting than this season.

I had already read the 2024 date, but had hoped that the reports were wrong.
The only good news is that we will get a tv movie in the fall.
And you have an interesting theory about the Cylons’ plan.

I’m still not totally willing to leave the “Baltar is a Cylon” camp, although Starbuck now becomes a prime candidate.
