]]>I was unaware, btw, that the ACLU was locked in on creating economic ruin for the US. I am not sure how protecting civil liberties accomplished that feat. I have my differences with the ACLU, but please, they aren’t some bogeyman that will destroy the US. Indeed, I have more concern over politicians who ignore civil liberties than those who over-emphasize them.
I still find this to be rather “huh?!”-worthy. Beyond that, the full quote is still quite vacuous.
