I forgot about the Larry Craig/Mark Foley/Ted Haggard crew. We already have self-hate as well. Doh! I forgot about the Larry Craig/Mark Foley/Ted Haggard crew. We already have self-hate as well.

"It means that Romney does not want the country to be plunged into an abyss of economic ruin," see Debt, National. "self-hate," okay, you got me there. "victimization," see Right, Religious. "and moral-bancruptcy" see Torture. So the concern then is about adding self-hate to the mix. If that happened then we'd REALLY be screwed. Interesting. That 'ACLU' equals "godless communism/socialism" and that 'USA' equals the Religious Right's exclusionary vision of a "Christian America" Then I read the comments and saw the fuller quote. I would say that it supports my assertion. Romney is playing to the persuction complex of the R.R. and my good pal O'Reilly. I was unaware, btw, that the ACLU was locked in on creating economic ruin for the US. I am not sure how protecting civil liberties accomplished that feat. I have my differences with the ACLU, but please, they aren't some bogeyman that will destroy the US. Indeed, I have more concern over politicians who ignore civil liberties than those who over-emphasize them. I still find this to be rather "huh?!"-worthy. Beyond that, the full quote is still quite vacuous. Sorry, but so it is. I'll just be sitting around and decide to do some future definin'. Sometimes I define it with words, but usually with letters. Letters that stand for something. Acronyms, if you will. Nothing strange about that. I often define our future. I’ll just be sitting around and decide to do some future definin’. Sometimes I define it with words, but usually with letters. Take one sentense out of context, and say that it doesn't make any sense! "Republicans for Change aren't afraid to talk about faith. We recognize the hand of the Creator in the founding of our nation. We will fight to keep the words 'under God' in the Pledge of Allegiance. Have you seen the new dollar coin? 'In God We Trust' has been moved. It's not on the face of the coin anymore, it's on the edge – virtually invisible, just like the ACLU wants Him to be. I will go to work to get God back on the front of our coin! "I will fight to make sure our future is not defined by the letters 'ACLU,' but by the letters 'USA.' Romney recognizes the good of the American people. Romney's optimistic approach self accountability, reduced government, reduced taxes, strong military, strong families, etc., smacks at the "can-do" approach Americans have made famous for over 200 years. We are lucky to have a candidate of his caliber.
