Of course, I don’t hold Lieberman in very high regard, so it actually wouldn’t be very surprising if he did accept a job from Bush.
Since Bush doesn’t have much regard for the UN it would be only fitting that he put a pathetic clown like Lieberman up there as his ambassador.
]]>If this rumor is true, then President Bush is just stroking Lieberman’s ego and looking bipartisan at no cost to himself. In the remote chance Lieberman said yes, gaining another Republican senate seat would be will worth the cost of giving Lieberman the seat (and as Kappiy says, the seat doesn’t mean much - although I would be very, very surprised if Lieberman did accept the job).
