    1. Gas Prices Plummeting…

$2.50 a gallon gasoline might be right around the corner:

Gasoline prices are falling fast and could keep dropping for months. “The only place they have to go is down,” says Fred Rozell, gasoline analyst at the Oil Price Information Service…

    2. $2.52…

That’s the price of gas at the Liberty station in Mitylene, Alabama today (I pass it on my drive to work). Steven Taylor (Poliblog) and James Joyner (Outside the Beltway) are commenting on this too. Though the drop may be coming to an end due …

    3. I am glad to see that our war for oil is *finally* starting to pay off.

    4. Is it a coincident that prices are starting to drop as interest in the mid-term elections heat up? I think not. This country should be focused obsessively on developing alternative fuels.

    5. Do you really think that anybody has the power to set the price of gasoline?

You give the administration and their allies an awful lot of credit with that sort of assertion.

    6. Where’s the dramamine? Part Six…

Here’s a gas price prediction for you- The price of gas won’t be the same on election day as it is today. Now take that to the bank or Las Vegas whichever is your preference….

    7. It’s backdoor power that the administration has. They also brief the VP on our energy policies. If the voters go to the polls angry over gas prices they are going to be less likely to vote for Republicans. The oil companies worry that Democrats will tax excess profits when a company is making, oh $8billion every three months.

    8. An appeased voter is a happy voter and will stay the course. To bad Chaney has went all the way to the Supreme Court to keep the voters in the United States from seeing the shady energy policies that our government has made. I sure would like to know why energy information is top secrect?

    9. Anybody who can’t see through this sham needs to have their head dunked in crude. Prices are sure to drop until after election day, then, Katy bar the door —– regardless of who wins the election.

    10. Anybody who can’t see through this sham needs to have their head dipped in crude. Just as soon as the mid-term election is over, and regardless of how it turns out, Katy bar the door. Rip-offs by the oil companies are going to be worse than ever.
