Who came up with the nominees? Why in the world was Jimmy Carter nominated in the “politics” category?
More appropriate candidates might have been Bush, Cheney, Rove, McClellan, Foley, Hastert, etc…
Carter just wrote a book that nobody has actually read, whereas these other characters have actually had access to the mechanisms of power.

I made the nominations which also included.
Putin Abramoff Foley Katherine Harris McKinney Kim Jong IL George W Bush NVD Party from the Netherlands Denny Hastert and Nancy Pelosi Galloway
There were 12 judges other than myself and Dr. Taylor. I voted Kim, Putin, Harris myself.
