    1. I am conservative and could not agree with you more! We have been losing the war to call people what they are for years with liberals and should not be more careful. The reality is that there is a middle in politics and even if the left and the right do not like it they should recognize it and respect the people for what they are.

    2. I think there’s some understanding to be found in Andrew Sullivan’s post on this today. (Link

They (the far right) seem to be consolidating toward an ideological purity. They may achieve this, too — but at an extremely high cost.

    3. She is for card check, which is a major advance for the left. She was for the stimulus, it’s dubious what her position on cap n trade is, or the public option, how about Afghanistan, she may
not programmatically left, but it works out that way. Her economic positions were a priori more
important than Hoffman’s social positions. But there again, she not only is pro choice, but she gets a Margaret Sanger award. Stop trying to pretend that Andrew Sullivan makes sense about anything
that ship has sailed long ago

    4. @ narciso..

Every fact you say is true, but is has nothing to do with her being a radical leftist. Mao Zedong and Che Guevara were radical leftists – I can’t think of a prominent US politician who I would throw into that category at all. The issue is not over whether she is liberal or not, but about people like Michelle Malkin making the term “radical leftist” meaningless by taking it entirely out of context.
