Kraft claims it is a “gift.” It should more properly be understood as a bribe.
The US has laws against US businesses engaging in this sort of thing, namely the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
In the name of protecting shareholder interest, the Dept. of Justice should investigate this immediately.
