If you can get your locals on satellite, or can get them OK with an antenna, ditch the cable and get the dish! BellSouth DSL is ok, but I occasionally have weird problems (not to mention the time in December they screwed up my billing and knocked me offline for 10 days...) I’ve had DirecTV for going on 4 years now, and I can’t say a bad thing about them. If you can get your locals on satellite, or can get them OK with an antenna, ditch the cable and get the dish!

Only cable. But fortunately we have very stupid cable people. After two weeks of cable modem outages (which pretty much sounded the death knell of Barrel of Fish), I asked for one month free service. The supervisor couldn't do that, but she could give me three months at half price. True story. And it is what drained the water from the Barrel of Fish.
