Via the BBC: Many dead in US-Iraq base blast
At least 40 people have been killed by a bomb inside a military base housing US and Iraqi forces near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, police say.Police said the blast in Kisk village might have been caused by a suicide bomber targeting Iraqi army recruits.
Unconfirmed reports say all the victims were Iraqis, although details of the incident are still coming in.
