As far as his Presidential campaign, he simply has not caught fire with the Democratic electorate and may not last until the Iowa caucus. His senate seat is widely seen as being vulnerable, while his presidential candidacy is not very popular in NC, despite the feverent support of the larger newspapers in the state that would dearly love to have Presidency come to the state.
