Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. Well, yes -- but the issues involved are a bit more convoluted when dealing with issues of over-riding public concern and/or equally strong legal traditions in the other state. Lawrence v. Texas, from what I have read about it, makes it even more likely that the Supreme Court will ignore the strong legal traditions or other issues of public concern.
