India, Pakistan to Begin Peace Dialogue

The surprise agreement followed two days of meetings between Indian and Pakistani leaders under the cover of a major South Asian regional summit that provided the impetus for Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's visit to the Pakistani capital.
In my opinion, this is the real hot spot of the world. While I am glad to see the two sides talking, I still really fear that Musharraf's position is at best tenuous. The two assasination attempts were just reinforcement of that opinion. And the two sides could quickly and easily slide back to hostilities. Who'd a thunk that the British could muck up Kashmir so badly. :)
