Via the Miami Herald: Chávez, poor in Bush’s focus on eve of Latin American trip
many Latin Americans don’t consider Bush their friend. A poll last fall of 20,000 residents in 18 countries found Bush and Chávez equally unpopular, with approval ratings of just 39 percent. Only Fidel Castro fared worse, with 27 percent.
Well, that must chap Chávez ’s hide…
I must confess: I would have expected Bush’s numbers to be lower than that.

Wow! Bush is actually more popular in Latin America than in the US?!?!
The latest Gallup poll places his approval at 33% in the US.
