Via the AP: Nagin Wins Re-Election As Big Easy Mayor
With 84 percent of precincts reporting, Nagin had 52.7 percent, or 51,885 votes, to Landrieu’s 47.3 percent, or 46,625 votes.
That’s a solid win.
So much for the current situation being in Landrieu’s favor.
Of course the real question here is why anyone would want the job!
