It was quite a series–and after a disastrous first half, I thought that the Spurs were going to pull it off, but it wasn’t to be.

Congrats to the Mavs.

Great game, great series…Duncan is a beast. Tonights game made me miss my cable even more. I am thankful for espn radio though.

That was one of the best playoff series of the past few years. Could have gone either way, but it’s just the Mavs’ turn.

Now – can the Clips knock off the Suns?

I missed the game because I had to work in San Fran today. I just saw the extended highlights. It appears to me the Spurs were robbed. Robbed I say! If Nowitzki was fouled on his lay up (2 + 1 free throw tied it), then Ginobili and/or Duncan were fouled on the last play of regulation. It’s sad, but this series was decided by the refs. How can the refs make that call at one end, but not at the other.

I really feel for the Spurs. After fighting back from such a halftime deficit, they get the game taken away from them… and not even by their opponents.

I really thought the Spurs were going to pull it off right at the end (of regulation, that is).

But I was even sorrier to see the Clippers’ run end.

And I honestly do not know why I allowed myself to watch these games and thereby completely miss Jake Peavy’s career-best performance. Sigh.

There was some serious drama in the Dallas-SA game.

I didn’t stay up to watch the Pho-LAC game. It would’ve been something for the Clippers to have advanced, to be sure!

    6. B. Minich, PI Says:

Let’s hope that the Clippers keep it up – I’d love for LA’s “other” team to get on Kobe’s nerves.

Also, I’m cheering for whoever is playing Dallas. ;)

    7. Dr. Steven Taylor Says:

If the goal is doggin’ Kobe, then you should pull for a Clippers-Heat Finals!

I found this information helpful, thanks very much.
