Via BBC: Poland twin wins approval as PM
The twin brother of Poland’s president has been confirmed as the country’s prime minister after winning a confidence vote in parliament.Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who heads the conservative governing Law and Justice Party, won by 240 votes to 205.
He was appointed to the post by identical younger twin President Lech Kaczynski last week.
It almost sounds like the set-up for a sitcom, except in the sitcom the twins would be from opposing parties, and perhaps they would be identical cousins instead of twins…
Here’s a pic:
Rumors that they have agreed to have their names tattooed on their foreheads are unconfirmed at this time.

To be honest, my reading of the situation is that the PiS (Law and Justice Party) isn’t really all that good for Poland, specifically in regards to their trade policies, as noted by Honza above.
Further, the current cabinet has a number or hypernationalists (such as Samoobrona). It would have been far better for Poland had PiS been able to form a cabinet with the PO–alas, that did not happen.
