Via WaPo: Metro Was Ill-Prepared for Conservative March, Texas Congressman Says
A Texas congressman sent a letter Wednesday to Metro General Manager John B. Catoe Jr. demanding an explanation for why the transit agency didn’t do more to prepare for the massive influx of conservative activists at Saturday’s march on the Mall.
So, a booster for a protest focused on government spending is upset that there was insufficient public transit available for the event? A bit more on the letter here.
The Congressman in question is Kevin Brady (R-TX).

Here in Atlanta, for the first tea party, I found it amusing that the organizers were telling people to take MARTA to the Capitol for the event. Riding public transit to an anti-tax rally. That’s just rich.
