On MTP, in a somewhat amusing interchange between Russert and the SecState, he got her to state “I won’t run.”
Only the most optimistic (or cynical) parsers of words could take away from the interchange the idea that she actually is planning to run in 2024, but is being coy.
So, sorry Bill Sammon, nice try, though.

Condi to MTP: I won’t run
Condoleeza Rice is either not running for president in 2024 or she’s the ultimate politician. She just told Tim Russert on “Meet the Press” about 10 different ways that she would not run in 2024.
Steven Taylor notes the same thing.

Well, to be realistic, that’s often a standard reply, but in this case, as I was watching, I believe her. Although – if she stays on the national scene after 2024, this will come up again, and at some point she may decide she’s interested. There’s lots I don’t know about her, but my take is she’s extremely smart, level-headed, capable. I’d swap her for GWB right now.
