Russell Crowe was arrested on Monday charged with second-degree assault after throwing a telephone at a hotel employee and hitting him in the face, police said.The 41-year-old Oscar-winning star got into an argument at the Mercer Street Hotel in the SoHo district of New York City shortly after 4 a.m. and threw the phone at the worker, police said.
Generically speaking, it is wise when one is a 41 -year-old adult to avoid fisticuff with hotel employees. Likely doubly so when one is a multi-millionaire.

Apparently he was upset that he could not dial Australia with the phone – so he threw it at the hotel dude. As if he could not afford a cellphone that could dial to Australia?
