1. What is your favorite word?
-”vituperative” (in terms of sounds)
-In terms of usage, it is probably “indeed� ( I was big into “indeed� before I ever heard of InstaPundit—not that this is a radically original thing)
2. What is your least favorite word?
-postmodernism
2a. What is your least favorite phrase (I added this one)
-“That’s not fair� (all parents can, no doubt, relate)
3. What turns you on?
→ technology, books
4. What turns you off?
-ignorance, whining
5. What is your favorite curse word?
-crap (I am not a big curser)
6. What sound or noise do you love?
-“Dadeeeeee!� when I come home from work.
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
-the door opening and closing constantly, the sound of someone slamming on their brakes
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
-novelist (in this, Dr. Stotch and I are in concert)
9. What profession would you not like to do?
-mortician
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
-unoriginal, but “well done�

1. Favorite word – sweetie
2. Least favorite word – shut-up
2a. phrase – “I don’t get it” (I hate to hear any of my kids say those words!)
3. Turn on – intellegent conversation
4. Turn off – closed minds
5. Curse word – don’t really have a favorite but I probably use “shit” the most.
6. Sound I love – truly joyful laughter
7. Sound I hate – Nails on a chalk board
8. Profession other than the one I am currently studying for – Quilt Shop owner or Bed & Breakfast owner
9. Profession I wouldn’t want to do – Kindergarten teacher
10. What I would want to hear God say – Come in, all is forgiven.

My favorite word is “pleonastic.” It just cracks me up that there’s another word for “redundant”.
