You know you are a Hardcore Blogger when people see you and think of your blog’s name and can’t remember yours.
a couple of weeks ago I ran into Dr. Taylor at a hardware store. He greeted me by name, and I gave him a cursory “hi.” My brother-in-law asked who that was, and I had to confess that I hurried past him because I couldn’t remember his proper name and could only remember him as “Poliblog.”
I find this extremely amusing. And for what it’s worth I am frequently bad at recalling names out of context (indeed, even in context I screw them up–just ask my student Tim, whom I have been calling “Tom”). Indeed, when I conjured Scott’s name that day I was hoping that I had, in fact, pulled the right name out of the air.

As to Tim/Tom, I can’t remember which one is actually his name because you call him both consistantly. lol

I have to confess that every time I blog your name, I have to check twice to see that I haven’t typed “Dr. Steven TYler.” Although the image of the Aerosmith lead singer teaching a poli sci class is worth a chuckle.

Well it is a good thing you didn’t name your blog ‘This Blog is Full Of Crap’. Because if someone could not remember your name, they would just say “oh he is Full of Crap.”
