I just noticed a substantial number of visitors (nothing radical, but a noticeable surge) coming from the old Blog*Spot version of PoliBlog.
Can anyone clue me in as to why that might be the case?
Update: A semi-answer is that there was a surge of search-engine traffic to the old site for people searching for “Poliblogger”–70 hits to the B*S site for that search string from non-Google search engines. Odd. I wonder what caused the rush of searches?

Well some of it could have been from my husband hunting for your blog. He had me hunt for it as well…but then again, if we had it wrong it wouldn’t have shown up.

Not sure of the initial source but I use metacrawler.com (searches yahoo, google, msn, etc) as my search engine and Poliblog was listed for the last two days under the Popular Search section.

I heard about your blog from the NPR game show, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. They used this quote – “Let’s face facts: most of us know what we know about the Geneva Conventions from watching Hogan’s Heroes.” – in one of their quiz questions this week.

Lesah,
That’s classic. Thank’s for letting me know.
(And welcome).
