Said Newt Gingrich on MTP this morning in regards to the question of his potential candidacy for the presidency.
He seemed a bit flip and dropped the “very much” from a previous statement in response to the question of future office-seeking, when he said “I doubt it very much.”
In all honesty, his schedule, and the way he is talking in general, makes me think he is very seriously considering a run.

He is definitely considering, but I think he is smart enough to know he can’t win. Maybe not?

Love or hate Newt he is a highly intelligent man that would make a great President. His ability to explain complex issues and make them easy to understand would be a great change in politics today. If you had a chance, the interview with Tim Russert on Sunday was a great exchange between the two.
