Via the BBC: Colombia lifts rebel arrest order
Colombia has suspended capture orders for two leaders of the country’s second largest guerrilla group, the National Liberation Army (ELN).The move is expected to pave the way for formal peace talks.
The decision was announced in Cuba, where representatives of the ELN and the government are holding a second round of exploratory talks.
It would appear that the talks are proceeding well, which is encouraging.
