Yes, the site was down, but I am not sure for how long.
Hopefully all is well now.

I am a bit behind in my blog reading, so am a few days late in wishing Matthew Shugart a Happy Second Blogiversary. By Dr. Steven Taylor
If you were a blogger about two-to-three (or more) years ago, you were probably addicted to checking your TTLB Ecosystem ranking (indeed, I still have my TTLB ranking off on the right hand sidebar, a relic from a bygone era). However, due to the evolution of the Blogosphere, along with NZ Bear’s attempt to stop folks from gaming the system, the Ecosystem has become a fond memory that simply persists as a phantom of its former self (as the chief metric of the blog rankings). Via James Joyner here’s more amusing evidence of the Ecosystem’s failed state (with apologies to Matthew Stinson, a blogger I used to read frequently back in the “early days”). Sean Hackbarth of The American Mind (one of the very, very early blogs) has joined the Fred Thompson team. Good luck to Sean as he makes the transition from blogger and commentator to being part of a campaign–certainly two very different worlds. Sphere: Related ContentBy Dr. Steven Taylor
Back in March, the good people of the PRC were able to read the beacon of hope and democracy that is PoliBlog. Alas, a check today indicates that this is no longer the case. (On a side note, I have noticed that some of my spamming woes have decreased of late, and I used to get a lot of attacks from mainland China. I wonder if the tyrants of Bejing did me a favor…). It would appear that the site was down for much of the day, but since I was on the road I was unaware. Things are back up and blogging should be back to normal tomorrow. Sphere: Related ContentFiled under: US Politics, Blogging | Comments Off |

I am going to be on OTB Radio Tonight at 7pm Eastern with James Joyner and Dodd Harris. The main link for OTB Radio is here (where you can also hear the first episode). You can call in at (646) 716-7030. Update: The show from tonight is now archived as well. I talked more in the latter half than the first half. Sphere: Related ContentBy Dr. Steven Taylor
I am in the DC Metro this afternoon (Pentagon City Station) and what do I see? I guess that there is no escape. By Dr. Steven Taylor

Man, you don’t visit Munger’s blog for a few days and everything changes. I am still a bit woozy from the initial visit. At least I am listed as amongst The Cheeisest! Sphere: Related Content |
