Political Wire has the speculation.
I suppose I could see it happening, especially given the fact that Florida is a key state and Jeb is popular in Florida. Still, unless Dubya’s numbers go up, I have a hard time seeing a nominee wanting to take that baggage into November ’08.

If a Democrat wins the FL. Gov office this November then it could make Jeb more of a value. A strong showing from Nelson over Harris for the Senate (whisch is expected) and a Democrat takeover of the Governorship could tilt Florida to the Dem side in 08. That would be disaster for the Republicans who need the 27 electorial votes.
