El Tiempo reports on the demonstration that accompanied Bush’s visit to Bogotá: 127 detenidos tras disturbios en Bogotá, durante visita de Bush; 25 de ellos son menores de edad
En el centro de la capital se han presentado choques con la policía, que ha sido atacada por manifestantes con piedras, postes de alumbrado público y barreras de contención.Las protestas comenzaron al mediodía, principalmente en las inmediaciones de la Plaza Bolívar y en algunos tramos de la Carrera Séptima, después de que el presidente de Estados Unidos llegó a la Casa de Nariño, sede presidencial.
The excerpt states that there were protests in the center of downtown and confrontations between the protesters and the police, including some rock throwing. The main protest was in the central square, which is only a block or so from the presidential reisdence, where the meeting were held.
The story notes that approximately 1,500 persons participated in the protests, with 127 being arrested (25 of whom were minors). Also the story note that ten persons were wounder, including two police officers.

Update: in looking at some of the updated pictures of the protests (the whole gallery is here), one notes that day was also an excuse from hooliganism, vandalism and theft. I think that that is a bank being smashed in the photo below–indeed, it looks familiar to me. There are other photos of guys breaking windows and stealing Cokes and such.
