Via Reuters: Halliburton to build new $30 mln Guantanamo jail
A Halliburton Co. unit will build a new $30 million detention facility and security fence at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where the United States is holding about 520 foreign terrorism suspects, the Defense Department announced on Thursday.
So, now we have Gitmo + Halliburton. If Karl Rove can somehow be worked into the story, the Democrats’ version of the Axis of Evil will be complete.

Well, him and other Democrats are now going to suggest that the only reason we have a Gitmo is to enrich Halliburton.

No other firm could have built Guantanamo? Parsons, Bechtel, Flur Daniels and others. Was this also a no bid contract?
