By now I am sure that everyone has seen the story of the hacking of Palin’s Yahoo account.
I keep thinking: Yahoo must be loving having it splashed across the headlines of the world that their mail system is vulnerable to infiltration.
It also points out that one does have to be careful using private e-mail accounts to do public business: Governor’s two e-mail accounts questioned: Gov. Sarah Palin.

I suspect those who broke into her e-mail will take a drip, drip, drip approach. First, innocuous e-mails are released. Later, we’ll see more questionable and/or embarrassing ones if any exist. All the while Nick Denton, owner of Gawker, dances with glee at all the traffic he’s getting.

“The Real Scoop On Palin’s Staged Town Hall Meeting — Another Pretend Moment!
http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/
So, what was the catch? Unlike most town-hall events, which are open to the public, include diverse crowds, and no one needs an advance invitation, this event was for ticket-holders only. And the only way to get a ticket was through the local Republican Party, after an advance RSVP. No wonder Palin was prepared to play “stump the candidate” — it was a very friendly crowd that had no interest in testing her.
It doesn’t exactly sound like a vote of confidence in the candidates’ ability to answer tough questions, does it?”
How long will the GOP continue to get away with lying, cheating and deceiving the American people?

The thing is — so far — the emails from the personal Yahoo account look like personal emails. So far there hasn’t been an email posted that should have been routed through government computers.
There have been two emails leaked that had to do with a political rally. I’m not a government employee myself, nor am I a Party official, so I can’t say this with complete authority, but I’ve heard from people more knowledgeable than I that politicians are forbidden from sending communication dealing solely with political rallies or other Party events through official government channels (government email, government-paid regular mail, military courier, etc.). Assuming that’s true, those emails *could not* be sent through her official email address legally.
Both Obama and McCain have Senate email addresses. When they send out campaign email regarding political rallies, can they send them through their Senate email addresses or do they send those through their campaign email accounts? Why?

Speaking of Pretending —–
I am from Chicago, baby, and Obama has done nothing but PRETEND through his entire campaigning process.
He pretends to be for the middle class — wake up baby, this elitest african-american has got YOU fooled.
Obama could not afford the house he is living in - check out for yourself - the home was remoddled and he bought is way under the market value (BEFORE IT WAS REMODDLED). Not to mention the lot next to his house - some else paid for that too. Who was that person– REZKO.
I cannot believe how U.S. citizens are blind sided by an individual with a law degree who became a community organizer because HE COULD NOT ARGUE A POINT IN COURT.
Obama is a telepromoter reader - not a debator. Why, because he does not have a thought of his own. Someone else has to write everything for him and FEED him information.
Let’s make sure he is NOT wearing an earpiece so someone else can FEED him answers during his debates with John McCain.
