Amazing!
Via Steven Taylor, something almost right out of Lucifer's Hammer. A British surfer caught out on the water when the tsunami came in surfed the initial rush, survived, and escaped to safety with his family.

Then everybody’d be surfin’
Like the Martin Markwell!

You’d catch him surfin’ in Sri Lanka
Across the Indian shore
Catchin’ tsunamis as they rise up
And comin’ back for more.

And we’d be laughin at the Kofi
Who says we’re pretty cheap
After all us ‘Mericans
Dig into our pockets deep.
