Of the memorials in DC, I have long thought, and always have confirmed each time I visit, that the Viet Nam War memorial is the most evocative and appropriate of them all. It is the memorial that, for lack of a better word, truly memorializes the object upon which is it is focused.




Do you personally know people on the wall or do you just visit on principle?
