Via USAT: Poll: Most Alabama residents support Aruba boycott
Three-quarters of Alabama residents back the governor’s call for a travel boycott of Aruba that was spurred the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, a new statewide survey suggests. The poll, conducted by the Mobile Register and University of South Alabama and released Sunday, also found that seven out of 10 respondents would not travel to the Caribbean island even if they won a free trip.
Having already published a column on this topic, I won’t get into how silly the whole thing is.
And for the record: if any of those folks mentioned above win a free trip that they don’t want to use, drop me a line.

Since parents of a 14 year old Pensylvania girl were killed by her boyfriend, should all Alabama parents of teenage girls boycott Pensylvania?
